How do I add to the count?
Click the menu bar icon and use the + button, or press your configured global hotkey (default: ⌘⇧1). You can also press the secondary hotkey to open the Quick Entry window for adding a note.
Where can I change the hotkey?
Open the main window from the menu bar icon → Settings → Hotkeys. Pling supports a primary and a secondary hotkey, both global.
Can I change when the day starts?
Yes. Settings → Day Boundary lets you set when your "day" begins — useful if you do late-night work and want it to count toward today, not tomorrow.
How do I turn off the coin sound?
Settings → Appearance & Sound → uncheck "Coin sound".
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your Mac, in Pling's sandbox container. Pling does not sync, upload, or transmit your data anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Does Pling work without an internet connection?
Yes. Pling is fully offline.
Will there be iCloud sync?
Planned for a future release (v1.1+).
